Sisters Of Mercy – Under The Gun
“Under the Gun” is a song by th the Sisters of Mercy released as the single from their album A Slight Case of Overbombing: Greatest Hits Vol. 1. It is a duet featuring Terri Nunn on vocals, and was accompanied by a music video with Andrew Eldritch and Nunn. It is the only new song on a greatest hits compilation released in 1993 by Merciful Release on EastWest Records, a UK Warner Music Group label. This is the band’s most recent single as of 2023 featuring the vocalist of the 1980s new wave and synth-pop band Berlin.

Erased is the first single taken from the album Symbol Of Life, with the additional vocals of Joanna Stevens. The song’s recording was the most difficult of his career, as Nick Holmes admitted, because he and Joanna never met in the same studio.

Jon Spencer Blues Explosion feat. Beck- Flavor
Orange is the 4th studio album from The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and features the aforementioned single “Flavor”.In 1994, Beck provided guest vocals for “Flavor.” It was later revealed that, in 1985, a full collaborative album was recorded that hasn’t seen the light of day. Expressing his fear that the record may have been lost in the 2008 Universal Warehouse Fire, Beck said “There’s a Jon Spencer Blues Explosion album I did in ’95 where I cut about 10 songs with them in New York City that’s never been released. But I don’t know whether it’s gone, nobody’s telling us anything.
